A Look Eastside Catholic
Eastside Catholic is as talented of team as you will see in the state of Washington with multiple national recruits littered all over the roster. Starting under center for Eastside Catholic will be Junior Michael Franklin (6-2 180). This will be Franklin’s first year starting at EC, but this isn’t your average situation while EC has the playmakers needed to help ease the transition for Franklin to be successful. On the ground for the crusaders is a talented group of running backs headlined by 2020 4-star Sam Adams Jr (6-2 200) who already holds 9 D1 offers. Through the air Franklin will lean heavily on 2020 4-star WR Gee Scott Jr (6-3 205) who holds 15 D1 offers, and 2020 4-star TE DJ Rogers (6-4 235) who holds 11 D1 offers. Up front the crusaders are led by senior Jason Medeiros (6-2 275) who holds an offer from Air Force. Defensively Eastside Catholic is led by the #1 player in the nation for 2021 in JT Tuimoloau (6-5 277) who has already garnered offers from schools Like Alabama, Washington, Florida, Tennessee etc. At LB look for Senior Evan Greve (6-4 230) to lead the way and in the secondary they are headlined by 2020 4-star CB Ayden Hector (6-0 185) who has offers from 8 Division 1 programs and senior 3-star safety Andrew Pederson (6-0 200).
Keys to winning
The biggest Key for Eastside Catholic will be their offensive line going out of state for the first game of season isn’t always easy and especially having a first year starter but if Eastside can keep the pocket clean and open up running lanes they will be in good shape.
The X Factor
The X Factor for Eastside Catholic will be Junior Quarterback Michael Franklin (6-2 180). This being Michaels first start on the road against one of the nation’s premier programs it is imperative that he keeps his composure throughout the game no matter what happens.
A look into Oaks Christian
Oaks Christian is a power house in the state of California and has produced a plethora of D1 athletes. This year’s Oak’s Christian team may not be as talented as in years past but don’t get it twisted they’ve got dudes. At quarterback Oaks is led by senior Josh Calvert (6-3 220) who doubles as their middle linebacker as well. On the ground Oaks is led by the #4 RB in the entire country in senior Zach Charbonnet (6-2 215) Zach has 25 D1 offers. Through the air the go to guy is 2019 4-star WR and Stanford commit Bryce Farrell (5-11 180) and can cause problems due to his speed. Up front Oaks is led by senior Cal Franks (6-7 285) who holds 2 D1 offers. Defensively it all starts with the #1 player in the nation for 2019 in Kayvon Thibodeaux (6-5 240) the 5-star prospect has amassed 27 D1 offers from all over the country. Up front with Mr. Thibodeaux is 3-star senior DT Reese Silofau (6-2 275) who holds 2 D1 offers. At LB Oaks has a 2 headed monster in 2019 4-star Josh Calvert (6-3 220) who holds 13 D1 offers and at outside linebacker is a 2019 Oregon State commit in Ryan Franke (6-4 210). Patrolling the secondary will be 2019 2-star Michael Jackson (6-3 180).
Keys to winning
For Oaks Christian the key is their front seven, if the big boys up front for Oaks can wreak havoc it could be a long night for Eastside Catholic as OC features two of the best defensive Lineman in all of California.
The X Factor
The X factor for Oaks Christian is their running back Zach Charbonnet, there’s no debate how good Zach is if he can break loose on EC it will be a long day Oaks success will be seen through how good Charbonnet plays.
Star studded event with future stars of college football on the field.
This game will be a good one but I’m going with Eastside Catholic over Oaks Christian 28-24
